| 1. The camera used was a Galaxy S9+, a cellphone, as per Moment Invitational Festival competition rules. | | 2. The film was shot over 4 days in Centurion, South Africa, just before the Corona virus lock-down. | | 3. Alexis Basson custom-built the mobile "boom" for sound recording, attached to the cellphone, that could easily be adjusted in length. | | 4. The Galaxy S9+ used to film, actually had a cracked screen. | | 5. The total budget for this film was roughly USD 100. | | 6. This is arguably the first film to practice social distancing and hand sanitation with multiple people on set, as shooting continued up to two days before official COVID lockdown. | | 7. Buchanan Marais personally baked the GI-friendly bread that was used for on-set catering. | | 8. Due to on-going regulations in South Africa, the official premiere of the film will probably only happen in 2021. |
